PSV Glass Technical Support Teams are on hand to assist customers with vehicle identification and glass identification. This is frequently done by surveying fleet vehicle groups, often using laser technology to identify the glass fitted, and processing the information into a vehicle layout or schematic. Regular updates ensure the latest fleet changes are recorded and maintained (see example below).

AEC/Royal Park Routemaster (RML)

The individual glass information on the schematic is fed into specific technical drawings and held on file digitally.

Cascade Management, or the transfer of fleets from front line duties, frequently necessitates glass upgrades or downgrades, according to the new operating conditions, and is the latest area where technical assistance is regularly required in glass refurbishment type work.
