Glass Installation Training

Glass Installation Training

With many vehicles now utilising direct glazing (bonded) to give body strength and aesthetic appeal, PSV Glass offer comprehensive on-site training modules giving trainees a hands-on practical course. Glass Installation Training

The normal number of delegates for each session is 4. The session can take place on-site.

Classroom facilities are required with flipchart plus a windscreen and body side-glass in the classroom.

Access to a vehicle for 2-hours is required, as is a new spare body side-glass to use in the training.

(NOTE: Operations Control will need to budget 4-hours after this installation to allow the PUR to sufficiently cure, to safely move the vehicle without compromising the integrity of the new bonded joint).

PSV Glass will provide all the necessary tools, equipment and materials to safely carry out this training.

PSV Glass will also provide condensed course notes, multi-choice test papers and Course Certificates.

GLASS FILMING TRAINING

With many vehicles now having a polyester film, either as a passenger protection device or as an anti-graffiti measure, the film will need replacing should any scratches or graffiti breach the operator's tolerance level. Whilst a relatively low skill task, initial training is needed to get the required finish to applied films. PSV Glass offer on-site training modules giving trainees a hands-on practical course.
